ABVM Cheerleading Program Details

Open to Grades 1 thru 8 for SKD students and / or the Assumption BVM parish.
​

Entry level & Tumblers welcome!
​

Cheerleaders will learn basketball cheers, hand motions, pyramid stunts & a halftime performance. They will gain self confidence & team leadership skills while having fun in a relaxed environment.

We may offer some fun Team Outings throughout the season.

Practices are once a week for up to two hours starting in mid October until CYO Basketball starts in late November.

Season runs through the end of CYO Basketball. (Late November thru January) Cheerleaders will cheer at one Basketball game per week (mostly home games). Basketball games are held Wednesdays - Sundays.

Cheerleading season ends with a Cheer Show, Award Ceremony and Pizza Party.
